How is moving from ezboard to proboard a downgrade? Compared to how many less annoying ads there is on the latter to the former, I say that this is an upgrade to me.

I agree with Jolly, I haven't seen any ads here, and the flash ads on EZ were really annoying, especially the ones that made sound. Also, I like this interface better.

Yeah, Spazz and JJ know the score - this is a better board. Oh and as VJ said, can I apply for modship too?

Well, for thos who MIGHT, and I do emphasize the MIGHT want to know more about the current ezboard situation, here's a post from the ezboard's ezboard. (copy/pasting) 5/31/05 - ezboard network issues -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here is a summary of the symptoms resulting from today's ezboard server issues:
1) Certain boards and forums are missing topics. 2) Various request errors are hindering boards (when opening certain topics, when replying, etc.). The problem where boards' main pages were giving a request error should be fixed, though. 3) Some boards have reported losses of funds from their Community Chests. 4) Various boards' user member lists have lost a number of users or gone blank(?) . 5) Certain boards' security logs have gone blank. 6) The ezboard network is slow.
Along with our technical operations department, we have been and are continuing to work on the solutions to each of these problems. Until we are able to come up with specific instructions for each issue, please sit tight. We will make each set of instructions available as soon as possible.
On behalf of ezboard, I apologize for the inconvenience and thank all of you for your patience (we apologize for the lack of an immediate update, but we have also been hindered by request errors and time-outs when trying to post here). Again, we will update this topic as frequently as possible.

Yeah... I really, REALLY prefer this board over the ezBread. It's less messy here.
And I really can't see how Kulock has lost interest in us. I mean, if he had he wouldn't be bothering to deal with all this "WHEN'S THE BOARD COMING BACK UP" and "WE'RE ALL DOOMED" stuff.

Yarr.
I'll rush a new phpBB, but like I said at the ezBoard, I don't have access to the backup of previous topics until the 7th at the least. So that complicates the process dramatically. I have an OLDER backup on hand, but it's just that (so a large amount of registrations, configuration changes, and topics would be gone). The other my sis has should be fairly current. I just don't have it handy.
So, you know, it'll be all sorts of fun in about a week's time. Hence why I didn't want to do it beforehand.

I'm personally willing to wait a week. Patience is a virtue, is it not?

Don't rush! We could just kick it here until you've got the most recent backup. And then smoose sailing~

Basically, what Evan and Mido said. I'm fine chilling here tempoarily, no need to rush things. I mean I even posted a Grandia III topic here. I can wait about a week or more 'til the board is perfect for you, Kulock.

Ku, personally, I can wait as long as needed. I've waited a while, I can wait a while longer. Although I would of course prefer the original MCMB, but I would also prefer it intact and backed up. Until then, I'm willing to wait at whichever incarnation of the Moogle Cavern is official.

Yeah, I can see me kicking it back here for a long while. This is fine, so don't rush yourself Ku.

Readminned Ku and Leo. You'll have to take up modship applications with Ku, like always. ;P
And is it me, or is Proboards a lot FASTER then EZboard, too?
EDIT: Oh, right, Fluff forum. Won't you guys be glad to finally be able to vent, huh. XD

A week, a month, I'll wait any time. As long as we have some board, any board, MoogleMB will always live on.
